Upcoming Auditions

Our next auditions will happen together on Sunday, 4/14 and Monday 4/15; Feel free to audition for either show or both on the same night!

Murder Well Done

Auditions will be held for Firebird’s next Mainstage production, the comedic murder mystery dinner theatre play Murder Well Done. The play will be a comedic take on classic murder mysteries, performed at the Almont Resort with a full script and light audience interaction/improvisation. Auditions will be held Sunday, April 14th at the Queen of All Saints’ Parish Hall in CB (403 Sopris Ave.) from 5:00-8:00pm, and Monday, April 15th in Room 101 of Western University’s Leslie J. Savage Library in Gunnison (1 Western Way) from 5:00-8:00pm. To reserve your audition time, click the button below.

Show dates will be June 14th, 15th, 21st, and 22nd. Roles available for ages 13 and up. Rehearsals begin April 22nd. No need to prepare anything for the audition, scenes will be given to read. Macbeth

Firebird’s next Shakespeare in the park production, Macbeth, is holding auditions together with the next Mainstage show auditions. The Bard’s classic tale of ambition and blood will be brought to life by local actors in a sci-fi-inspired style. Auditions will be held Sunday, April 14th at the Queen of All Saints’ Parish Hall in CB (403 Sopris Ave.) from 5:00-8:00pm, and Monday, April 15th in Room 101 of Western University’s Leslie J. Savage Library in Gunnison (1 Western Way) from 5:00-8:00pm. To reserve your audition time, click the button below.

Performances will be at the CB Depot August 24th, 25th, 31st, and Sept. 1st. Roles available for ages 13 and up. Rehearsals begin in May with extensive evening rehearsals starting in June. No preparation, prior experience, or knowledge of Shakespeare required. Scenes will be given to read with the actor’s preference of Shakespearean dialogue or modern English translation.
